Mark K. Mueller is the namesake and President of Mark K Inc. He has more than 40 years of experience as a promotional products distributor. Mark earned the Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS), a designation held by fewer than 5% of promotional product distributors.
Mark is a graduate of The Ohio State University. While attending the university he was a member of the Varsity Rifle Team. The rifle team won the Big 10 Rifle Championship for three of his four years on the team. He was selected for All Big Ten honors for three consecutive years.
Mark is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Officer Basic Course, U.S. Army Officer Advanced Course and the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College.
After serving three years on active duty (one year in the Republic of Korea) as an Air Defense Artillery Officer, Mark branch transferred to the Infantry Branch and retired from the U.S. Army after serving an additional seventeen years in the U.S. Army Reserves and the Ohio Army National Guard with the rank of Major. HIs last assignment was as an instructor with the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College with emphasis on Soviet Tactics and Air Land Battle Doctrine.
Community service is an important part of Mark's life. He was elected to the Findlay City Council. Mark was appointed to the Hancock County Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board (serving two years as Chairman of the Board). He is an Eagle Scout who served as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 308. As scoutmaster he was named Scoutmaster of the Year for the American Elm District. Mark has served on the Board of Directors for the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce (now Greater Findlay Inc.). Mark is very active in his church where he serves on the church council and social ministry team.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys weekends with his wife, Melinda, at their lake house on Lake Erie. He has also been an avid shooter for more than 55 years. His basement workshop is his refuge where he enjoys woodworking.
Mark is married to Melinda. They have two fantastic sons, Luke and Zach (Dani). His wonderful granddaughter, Adeline, is a magnificent example of a beautiful, intelligent person with a very effervescent personality.
